12th Annual Central Florida Earth Day will take place at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando this Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Admission is FREE!


Activities

  🌱 10:30 am - Endangered Species Puppet Parade

🌱 11:00 am - Orange Audubon Society bird experts 15-20 minute nature walk along Lake Eola

🌱 11:30 pm Drum Circle led by Mark DeMaio of 3rd Wheel


🌱  11:50 pm - Professional Polynesian dancer Onnie Norman will perform a Tahitian dance and teach basic Tahitian steps to the audience at 11:50 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. at the Acoustic Stage.

🌱  12:00 pm - Orange Audubon Society bird experts 15-20 minute nature walk along Lake Eola

🌱  12:30 pm -  Endangered Species Puppet Parade

🌱  12:50 pm - Dancer Fabiana Silva will perform a traditional Afro-Cuban dance to live percussion with world renowned conga player Edgar Rodriguez  at the Acoustic Stage.

🌱  1:00 pm - Orange Audubon Society bird experts 15-20 minute nature walk along Lake Eola

 β˜€οΈ  Warrior One Power Yoga will have yoga classes and demos throughout the day at the Mind, Body, Spirit area. 


 β˜€οΈ  Florida Tiny House Enthusiast will conduct tours of two tiny houses on Washington Street. They will have information about tiny house communities and builders. 

 β˜€οΈ  The Listening Project will be presented by Tisse Mallon of The Elar Institute. In a world where direct human contact has fallen to the side, The Listening Project aims to lsiten to people with complete and undivided attention. "Two chairs--Five minutes-- Whatever is on your mind." 

 β˜€οΈ  A free photo booth will be located in the center of Artist Corner.

 β˜€οΈ  Bring your unwanted shoes (Shoes4KidsUSA) to Environmental Education for recycling. 

 β˜€οΈ  Come by the Big Red Bus on Washington Street and give blood at Earth Day! Each donation, taking only about 20 minutes of time, saves three lives. Hosted by Pint Club.
